THE DON BOSCO ALUMNI, GETTING PEOPLE TOGETHER ONCE MORE
BORIVLI-MUMBAI, NOVEMBER 09, 2012: An evening full of colourful dresses, music, dance and fun. That’s how we can summarize the third edition of the annual Cultural Nite organized by the Don Bosco Borivali Alumni Association.
The event which was held on November 03, 2012 at the Don Bosco School Grounds saw a huge turnout of over thousand people of various age groups. Students, parents and teachers all came together and danced to the tunes of the live orchestra. Children from the neighbouring schools were also invited and they too had an enjoyable evening.
The chief guest for the event was Mr. Sunil Paraskar, Additional Commissioner of Police for North Mumbai region. He addressed the crowd and applauded the efforts of the school in putting up such a well- organized event.
The event came to an end with the prize distribution ceremony. As many as forty one prizes totaling a net worth close to Rs 50000 were distributed across various categories. The success of the event was only possible due to the efforts put in by the management, teaching and non-teaching staff, the Alumni Association and the event sponsors.
