MISSION SUNDAY AND BLOOD DONATION CAMP AT OUR LADY OF FATIMA CHURCH
JAITALA-NAGPUR, NOVEMBER 05, 2012 : Our lady of Fatima Church, Jaitala a mission station of the Archdiocese of Nagpur 
celebrated Mission Sunday. The day began with the holy mass which was well animated by the parish zone.
Father Dominic in his homily mentioned about the immense contribution of foreign missionaries towards the Archdiocese of Nagpur. He also emphasized that each one of us should become missionary in our own way.
The highlight of the day was the celebration of mission fate games and stalls. These stalls were put up by the different zones and groups of the parish. The parishioners enthusiastically took part in all the activities. From the old to the young contributed for the mission.
The culmination of Mission Sunday took place on November 04, with a blood donation camp. The camp was organized in collaboration with Lata Mangeshkar Hospital Management.
Initially some of the parishioners were reluctant to donate their blood because of some wrong understanding. But with the help of Mr. Robert Kandale our parishioner (a male nurse), a large number of people came forward to donate the blood.
Here at Jaitala on Mission Sunday we thanked God for giving us missionaries and at the same time helping us to save lives through blood donation camp.
