FAMILY GET TOGETHER

SAVEDI-AHMEDNAGAR, DECEMBER 31, 2012: On the Solemnity of the Holy Family of Nazareth, the families of the Don Bosco Savedi Church 
gathered in the school hall after the Solemn Eucharist.
The get-together was organized for all the parishioners by the community of Don Bosco Savedi. The celebrations of the Solemnity of the Holy Family began with the Eucharist at 10.00 am and was attended by many families of the parish.
Immediately after the Eucharist there were separate games organized for all men, women, and children gathered. Some of the seminarians of the parish and the youth came forward and helped out during the games. There was active and enthusiastic participation in the games. Housie was played to conclude the 
session of games.
Exciting prizes were given to all the winners of the games. Spot prizes were also given. All the prizes were sponsored by some generous parishioners.
The celebrations ended with the fellowship meal. Every family shared their food and sweets with one another, the fathers and brothers.
Indeed it was a day of great joy for the families. Everyone present seemed to have enjoyed the get together and look forward to have many more such occasions organized in the near future.
