BOSCO GRAMIN VIKAS KENDRA INITIATES WATER CAMPAIGN

AHMEDNAGAR-MAHARASHTRA, April 3, 2013: Just like water can give life, in the same way lack of 
water can take away life.
Right now the district of Ahmednagar is facing drought. Due to this the living has become tough for the villagers. People are having difficulty even to quench their thirst.
Amidst this crisis, BGVK has come forward to start a WATER CAMPAIGN. In this campaign we intend to collect drinking water and distribute it to the villagers.
Don Bosco Yerwada has come forward to lend a helping hand to 
BGVK in this campaign. The people of Don Bosco Yerwada have generously done something that was beyond imagination. They have already given hundreds of cans and bottles of water and some have given one tanker each.
They say a leader should lead by example and this is what His Lordship Bishop Thomas Dabre, Bishop of Poona Diocese has done. He has joined BGVK Water Campaign by sponsoring one thousand bottles of water.
We hope and pray that this small beginning will help us to reach out to thousands of villagers who are waiting to receive water just to quench their thirst.
