KAWANT-GUJARAT, AUGUST 13, 2013: The Salesians of Don Bosco Kawant organized a Marian Nite for the boys of the boarding. The event was held on 11th August 2013 at 7:00 
pm in the boarding hall. The Venue was arranged beautifully by Cl. Velasli B which created a prayerful atmosphere for the boys.
The Marian Nite was then inaugurated and declared open by Fr. Gregory D'Almeida, the rector of the community. He invoked the blessings of Our Lady on all those present and invited them to imbibe the qualities and values of our Blessed Virgin Mary.
12 teams participated in the various puzzles, games and competitions organized for the children. Even 
though some of the children belonged to other faiths, it was nice to see them participating with great devotion. The entire evening was conducted by seven SSC students under the guidance of Cl. Velasli B.
The boarders had an enjoyable evening. During the program refreshments were served to them. All the participants were given a token of appreciation. The program came to a close at 11:00 pm. For the first time entire Marian Month was well organized and planned by the brother with the help of the boys.
It was also a day of great joy, as three of our boarders (Rathwa Arun Ravji, Rathwa Vikesh Jagan and Rathwa Keval Praveen) who participated in the Marian Quiz held in Kapadvanj won the first place.
